“The doctor says there will be three,” she said in the premonition.

Three babies. He opened his eyes. Yeah, they needed to mate with her and fast. Not only was she primed for mating, but he refused to be without her any longer.

“Well?” Vic asked. He wiped his mouth off with the back of his hand. “Any luck?”

“Yes.” Gale held her tighter in his arms. “Cost me almost two hundred maravedi to spring her for the night. I managed, but we’ve got to have her fitted with an ankle bracelet. The bastard wants to track her whereabouts.”

“What?” Kitty sat up, then wriggled from Gale. “What are you talking about? Why would you want to be seen in public with me?” She backed away from them and snatched a long-sleeved men’s dress shirt from a chair. “I’m here to serve you, not be your girlfriend.” She wrapped her arms around her body. “I’m not sure I could be,” she murmured.

“You are so much more than this shitty place.” Gale stood and snared her in his embrace. “William has brainwashed you into believing you’re worthless. You’re not.”

“You weren’t supposed to hear what I said,” she mumbled and averted her gaze.

“Kitty, you forget that we’re both supernaturals. My wolf hears you breathe and senses your feelings. Gale’s hearing picks up what I don’t. We’re tuned in to you.” Vic adjusted his pants to alleviate the pressure on his dick. “We want to make love to you, not just fuck.”

“You—” Her gaze switched between them both. “You can’t. It’s not possible.”

“I disagree.” Vic wrapped his arms around Gale and Kitty. “I had a vision—you pregnant with my children. You weren’t upset or abused. You were happy, healthy and quite loved—by Gale and me.”

“Will you give us a chance to show you what we mean?” Gale asked.

“I—” She hesitated and dug her fingernails into Vic’s arm. “I’ve never known life outside the Store Front. I’m scared.”

“It’s one night,” Vic said. “Give us the chance to show you how much we care about you and love you. If you don’t believe us or want to come back, we won’t stop you.”

  Her brown eyes widened.

The longer she stayed quiet, the more his heart hammered. He knew down to his soul he’d found their third and that Gale agreed, but he wasn’t sure about Kitty. She held the key. If she said no, then they’d be in limbo without a mate.

“We’ve fallen in love with you, Kitty,” Gale said. “You’re beautiful and have an edge. Your kiss lingers in my mind long after we’ve left here. The same goes for Vic. But all the words in the world won’t convince you. It’s time we showed you how special you are to us—if you’ll give us a chance.”

  Chapter Two

Gale curled his fingers under her chin. Kitty was the one woman to warm his blood. From her dark hair to her toes, she suited him. He loved her curves and the slight jiggle when she walked. He smelled the need within her and suppressed a groan. He needed to feed, but unless he could partake of her, he refused. The week of going without was starting to take its toll on him. Too much longer without blood and he’d slip into blood lust and go mad.

Gale tipped his head to the side. He could hear someone speaking, but could hardly make out the words. His sense of hearing was keen, but not enough to hear people in another room with the doors shut. Damn. Ice slid down his spine and the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. He glanced over at Vic. Vic’s eyebrows were knotted and he kept looking at the door. Something wasn’t right.

“Vic?” Gale nudged him. “What are you thinking?”

“I can’t tell exactly, but something is off… We need to blow this shack and go home.” Vic rummaged in her bureau. When he turned around, he handed her a longer shirt. “Wear this.”

Gale draped the shirt around her shoulders. “We need to stop by the front desk for the ankle bracelet, then I’ll take over and get us out of here.” Becoming a vampire hadn’t ranked high on his to-do list, but the speed and enhanced senses were a blessing.

“Good thinking.” Vic offered Kitty his arm. “Ready?”

She averted her gaze and shrugged. “I guess so.”

“Don’t you want us?” Gale wished he had a heart—being a creature of the night meant he’d lost his physical heart. Even so, his emotional heart broke for her. “We won’t push you.”

“I know.” Kitty flopped against him and sighed. “I trust you. I do. I just…I wish this was under different circumstances. You say you love me, but I’m not sure. This all feels forced, like you’re saying it to get me out of here.”

“Not at all.” Gale cupped her jaw in both hands. “The reason we want out of here is for you. There’s a shitty feeling here. You’re not happy. We want to share our very real bed with you.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “I fell for you the first time I saw you and my feelings have only grown. You’re smart, dedicated and strong.”

Her blush ran from her hairline to her chest. “I’ve never had someone say that about me before.”

“It’s true,” Vic added. “We wouldn’t lie to you just to get you into bed.”

She finally smiled, albeit a small one. “Then take me home.”

Gale curled an arm around her, but instead of full-on rejoicing, he kept himself in check. She wasn’t telling them everything. She’d seemed so much more enthusiastic about leaving before. Now she wasn’t so excited. He wouldn’t push her to spill her secrets yet, but he wasn’t going to let her get away with not telling them the truth.

With Vic on her other side, Gale escorted Kitty to the front desk. “The pass, please?”

William glared at them. “I don’t like this.” He snapped his fingers. “Leg.”

Kitty inched toward him and propped her foot on the nearby chair. William wrapped the tracking device around her ankle. He slapped her thigh before she could get away from him.

“You’re one of my better girls. I’m not feeling good about letting you out of my sight.” William shook his head. “You’d better not try to run or do something you’ll regret.”

Gale gritted his teeth. Better not try to run? Oh hell yes she’d be running away. He and Vic weren’t going to let her go.

“Thank you,” Vic said. He nodded to the door. “Shall we?”

Gale stole a glance at William, then herded Kitty and Vic out of the door. Once outside, he spread his arms. “Hold on to me.”

  “Hold on?” Kitty gasped.

“He’s wicked fast. Being a vampire has its perks.” Vic pinned her between his body and Gale’s. “Go for it.”

Gale closed his eyes and curled his arms around his lovers. He’d need more blood before they made the return trip to the club. Still, he had enough to get them home. He bounded forward, shooting them into the sky. Each step sent them soaring across the heavens to the penthouse. Without a tail wind to aid his movements, he could reach the apartment building in three bounds. He landed on the balcony and crouched over Kitty and Vic until the energy subsided.

“Wow.” Kitty stumbled against Gale. “I didn’t know you could do that.”

“Ah, the joys of being a vampire. I just run really fast.” Vic laughed and opened the doors to the penthouse. “Welcome home, babe.”

Gale hesitated a step in order to watch his loves walk into the apartment. He leaned on the doorframe. Although he hadn’t shifted into his wolf, Vic moved with a certain grace picked up from the animal. Seeing the animal in motion pleased him. He’d never wanted to be with Vic in a sexual way, unless a woman managed to cuddle between them. He and Vic were a team. He couldn’t see his life without his best friend.

Kitty moved with her own grace. Although timid, she trusted him and Vic enough to go along with them. She trailed her fingers over the thick curtains, then along the back of the leather sofa.

“You live here?” She stared at Gale, her eyes wide. “This is…like out of a magazine.”

“We do, little one.” Gale folded his arms.

“Do you need to feed?” She hur
ried across the room. “I hadn’t even thought about that until now, but you’re pale.” She touched his cheek. “Why didn’t you tell me? I’d have fed you at the Store Front.”

“I wanted privacy and for you to be comfortable.” Gale rested his forehead against hers. Her warmth seeped into his bones. “This is much more comfortable.”

  “It is,” she murmured.

Gale scooped her into his arms and carried her into the massive bedroom. “In here is even better.” He sat on the edge of the mattress and placed her across his lap. “May I feed from you?”

According to the supernatural laws, he didn’t have to ask her for her blood, but because he loved her, he insisted.

“Gale.” Her blush returned. “Of course.” She rubbed her wrist. “Do you need to feed from my arm?”

“No.” He wanted something more intimate. “I can feed wherever you grant me permission.”

Kitty’s brown eyes glittered and she flipped her dark hair over her shoulder, then slid the shirt down her shoulders. She tilted her head and offered her neck. “Please, feed from me.”

He licked his lips. The need swelled within him. His teeth elongated and he growled. He smoothed his fingers around her throat to her hair.

“Mine,” he said then plunged his teeth into her vein. Her blood dribbled onto his tongue, sweet and wild. Nothing matched the taste of her. He curled his free arm around her to hold onto her body.

“Gale,” she whispered. Her fingernails bit into his shoulders. “Oh my. Feels…like heaven.”

She brought out his primal need. She made him want to withdraw from her vein and plunge his dick into her heat.

Kitty sank against him and panted. “Gale.”

He’d taken too much from her. Fuck. Gale eased his teeth from her skin, then licked the wound closed. He cradled her in his arms.

“Thank you,” he said and kissed her forehead.

“You have no idea how sexy that is.” Vic strolled into the room. “Made me hard looking at the two of you together.”

“Then join us,” Gale said. “We’ll lay together until she recovers.” He turned his attention to Kitty. “Can’t make love to you when you’re so limp.”

She grinned. “You’re going to spoil me.”

Gale stood long enough to place her in the middle of the bed, then with Vic on her other side, he crawled onto the mattress beside her. She deserved to be spoiled. He met Vic’s gaze. “We should make our girl feel worthy of us.”

“You don’t believe you belong here?” Vic asked.

Kitty shrugged. “You’ve been so good to me.” She touched Vic’s cheek, then switched her gaze to Gale and cupped his jaw. “I’m supposed to work for you, not you work for me.”

Gale snorted. He and Vic hadn’t begun to show her how they’d work for her—as she put it. He licked the last remnants of her blood from his teeth. She empowered him and not just from her blood. She pushed him to want to be a good man and to treasure her. With Vic’s help, he’d spoil her absolutely rotten until she understood where she belonged—with them.

Kitty switched her gaze between the two men. Both were similar in attitude, but totally opposite in looks. She couldn’t have asked for anyone more perfect if she’d made a checklist, but she hardly felt worthy of their affection. She smoothed her palm over Gale’s cheek. With her blood flowing through his system, his more human-like glow had returned. She’d been taught to fear the vampires and to do whatever they told her to do in order to stay alive. With Gale, fear wasn’t part of the equation. She tugged him down to her level and kissed him, swiping her tongue along his bottom lip.

“That’s sexy,” Vic murmured. He slid his fingers across her breast, pulling the cup of her corset top down and exposing her breast.

The cooler air slipped across her nipple, sending a shock through her system. She moaned into Gale’s mouth, then turned her attention back to Vic.

Vic brushed her hair from her face and feathered kisses over her cheeks, nose and chin.

“We should see all of our new toy,” Gale said. He tugged the zipper of her corset, loosening the garment. The lingerie fell away from her body, baring her from the waist up.

She arched her back, needing their touch. Gale’s chilly breath tickled her skin as he nipped the upper swell of her breast. At the same time, Vic nibbled on her mouth. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers through Gale’s hair. Her pussy throbbed and lightning rushed through her veins.

“Look at me, little one,” Gale said.

She opened her eyes as he trailed his fingers down her inner thigh.

“You’re so beautiful.” Gale crawled between her legs. “Play with her sweet titties, Vic.”

“Absolutely.” Vic blocked her view of Gale as he massaged her breasts. He rolled her nipples between his thumbs and forefinger. “Love these.” He buried his face in her cleavage, licking a path of fire along her chest. He sucked one nipple into his mouth and pinched the other hard.

“Oh,” she yelped. The pain quickly switched to pleasure and she rocked into his touch. She craved the sting. “More.”

“Our bad little girl wants another pinch?” Vic chuckled, then gave in to her. He cupped her right breast. The gentle pressure increased as he bit her nipple.

“Yeah,” she said, drawing the word out. “Like that.”

“So hot.” Gale parted her thighs. His breath feathered over her cunt lips. “Pink and perfect.” Instead of pleasuring her with his tongue, he blew chilly air over her labia.

“Gale.” She edged higher up on the bed in order to prop herself up on the pillows and watch both men. “Don’t tease me.”

“You know you don’t mean that.” Gale grinned. His eyes glittered with extra silver flecks. When he opened his mouth, his teeth had already elongated.

Would he draw from her vein again, but this time while Vic toyed with her breasts? She shivered. Every thought in her brain evaporated. Nothing mattered except them.

  “Fuck me,” she murmured.

“No,” Gale replied. “We’re going to make love.” He moved in a blur. The mattress dipped, then rocked. When he returned to the foot of the bed, he’d removed his clothes. His muscles rippled with each movement. The man reminded her of a statue come to life. She longed to run her fingers over the ridges and valleys of his body.

His words resonated in her ears. Make love.

“Get her ready.” Vic crawled off the bed and yanked his shirt up over his head. Where Gale was lanky and sinewy, Vic embodied raw strength in a more compact form. Dark blond curls dusted his chest and led down to his groin in a thin line. Crisscrossing scars decorated his chest. She’d run her fingers over the silvery lines a hundred times when they’d been together before, but she’d never asked how he’d been injured.

“Kitty.” Gale knelt on the bed and dragged her legs over his lap. “This has got to go.” With lightning speed, he shredded her shirt. The destroyed garment fell onto the mattress. “Better,” he said. He kept his gaze fixed on hers as he snapped his fingers. A condom packet appeared in his hand.

Ah, magic. Vampires possessed the right mix of humanity and magic to be able to conjure items—like the condom—when needed or wanted.

Kitty sat up long enough to take the packet from his hand. She tore the corner of the wrapper with her teeth, then withdrew the rubber. Within seconds, she’d sheathed him, but instead of simply allowing him to enter her, she stroked him.

“Ah, fuck.” He closed his eyes and ground his hips, fucking her hand. “You know what I like.”

“I do,” she murmured. She twisted her wrist, adding a pivot action to the stroke.

Gale gritted his teeth, baring his fangs. “Not how this will happen,” he said, despite clenching his jaw. He opened his eyes. “Let me love you.” He encircled her wrist with his fingers, moving her hand. “Relax.”

She slumped against the bedding. She hadn’t been able to truly relax in longer than she could remember.

  “Look at me, little one,”
Gale whispered. He lined his dick up with her hole once again, then pushed. The blunt head of his cock tapped her clit before he eased into her body. Little by little, he filled her. Every ripple and vein massaged her from within, despite the condom in the way.

She grasped his forearms and panted. They’d fucked plenty of times, but he’d never moved so slowly or with such reverence before. He leaned forward between her thighs until he rested his forehead on hers. The move seated him fully within her.

Gale brushed her lips with his own and his nose bumped hers. The silver in his eyes swirled. Passion combined with raw need and emulated from him in waves. Without looking away, he rocked his hips.

“My little one,” he murmured. “My sweet little one. I would give my life and death to keep you safe.”

She stared at him. He’d never said such things before. Did he expect her to say the same thing? She moved in time with his thrusts, rolling her hips. With each plunge into her body, he pushed her closer to the edge of orgasm. Fire licked her from within.

“Gale.” She moved her hands to his shoulders. “I’m getting close.”

“Not yet,” Vic said. He’d stretched out beside her and was rubbing his dick. “My turn.” He produced a condom and sheathed himself.

Kitty winced. She’d forgotten about Vic being there. Gale noticed her expression and tipped his head to the side just enough for her to see the move.

“Good sex makes us forget ourselves,” Gale said and grinned. He sat back and groaned. “Vic, my boy, she’s all ready for you.” He pulled her to his chest until she sat upright. As if she weighed nothing, he slipped his cock from her cunt then turned her around to face Vic. She propped herself up on her hands and knees over Vic.

“Hi,” she said. Her nipples brushed against his chest and the sensation tingled in her tits. “I’m making love to you now?”

“Yes, you are.” Vic tugged her to his chest. He kissed her, sliding his tongue along hers. When she opened to him, their teeth clashed a couple of times. He palmed her ass with one hand and used the other to guide his dick into her pussy.
