Find what you need at the Store Front. Blood, sex…we have it all just for you.
The supernaturals have taken over the earth, leaving the humans to serve them. The Store Front is one place for the supernaturals to find partners for feeding and sexual needs. Vic, a wolf shifter, and Gale, a vampire, have a special human female they love to visit. They know the bond between them goes far beyond the bedroom, but convincing Kitty the triad should happen might not be so easy.
Kitty longs to leave the Store Front and the total darkness of the earth. The one bright spot in her day is a visit from Gale and Vic. She loves the two supernatural men, even if she can’t voice the words. Do they return her affections on a deeper level or is she just a pawn to them? She’s not sure, but she’s willing to risk her heart and get wild after dark in order to find out.

Chapter One
“The Earth will never be safe again.” Kitty Davis peered out of the picture window of the Store Front. “Not until the balance is restored.”
The street lamps glowed above the sidewalks and a few cloaked figures made their way up and down the main drag of Clarke. She didn’t recognize anyone on the street, but then she wouldn’t know many of them. Humans no longer owned the world. The Vampires and Shifters now ran things. The humans had become little more than slaves to the supernatural beings and were locked in perpetual darkness.
“I don’t want to live in the darkness and bear children,” she muttered. “I want the chance to be free and find a person who loves me—not this.”
Couples paired off around her and disappeared into the various rooms of the building. The law had come down from the Governor stating the humans existed for the sole means of creating children with the shifters and as a blood source for the vampires. She pulled her robe over her shoulders to stave off the chill. The darkness depressed her. She had no future beyond the Store Front.
“You’re safe inside,” her friend Maddox said. She hiked up her bra top again. “We could be out there trying to fend for ourselves. I’m not saying this is great, but it’s better than starving.”
Kitty respected Maddox’s tendency to see the bright side of the situation, but she couldn’t see the bright side of being a blood slave.
“What if there’s more to our lives than being what we are? I want a life, not a virtual death sentence.” Yes, being at the Store Front meant protection. The women were there as courtesans for the supernaturals, and were kept safe in order for them to provide those services. The rules didn’t forbid her from leaving if she chose to go, but why bother? If she did leave, she’d be subjected to the law of the supernaturals. Too many bad things could happen—being killed, being attacked or dying of starvation. She refused to risk her chances of staying alive.
Maybe her men would come in today. She hadn’t seen Vic or Gale in what seemed like forever. They always treated her with respect and care. Her blood warmed just thinking about them.
“Girl,” a male voice shouted. “Kitty.”
Kitty shuddered. The command from the owner, William, meant one thing. She was being requested as a blood slave. She shrugged out of her robe and handed the garment to Maddox. “Wish me luck,” she murmured, then strode over to the vampire at the counter. The guy didn’t look familiar. Maybe he wouldn’t come back.
“Feed him,” William snarled. He wrapped an arm around her and his tone changed. “Not much longer and you won’t have to service them. You’ll get your heart’s desire.” He offered her a smile before he shoved her forward. “Now do your job, honey. You’re not here to look pretty unless they want you for a good time.”
Any good feelings she had toward William evaporated the moment she stumbled into the patron’s arms. The man smelled of garbage and sweat. Kitty crinkled her nose and grasped his hand. If she had to provide him sustenance, then she wanted to do it away from the prying eyes of the rest of the club. She led the vampire down the plush carpeted hallway to her private room.
“Before we enter, show me your bracelet.” She turned his arm over. The bracelet determined what services he’d paid for and what she was to provide. He wore a purple band—feeding only. Thank God. Screw the job. She refused to have sex with anyone other than her boys.
The vampire reached out and palmed her breast. “Soft,” he mumbled. “Pretty.”
“Yes, it’s soft and pretty.” She swatted his hand away, then opened the door. “Go in and sit.” She nudged the vampire ahead of her then closed the door behind them. One day she’d be free of the Store Front. She’d have someone who cherished her, not someone who wanted her for her blood or reproductive capabilities. One day…
The man licked his lips. “Feed me.” He sneered at her. His black eyes narrowed. “Do your fucking job. I haven’t got all evening.”
“You’re right. You don’t.” She shuddered again and sat on his lap, per the instructions of the club. She offered her wrist. “Feed.”
“I could make you a happy human if you’d let me mate with you.” He greedily dug his teeth into her arm.
Kitty sighed. When forced to take care of the vampires, she tended to let her mind wander, and why not? When the bloodsuckers came in to feed, they’d usually starved themselves to the point of near listlessness and once the feeding was complete, the euphoria kept them from trying to grab her.
He pulled on her vein, but she barely noticed. She longed for a man who cared about her—or rather, two men who cared about her. Maybe she was crazy to hope that her shifter and vampire would come back for her, but she had little else to look forward to. Gale and Vic made her hot all over. She closed her eyes. In her mind, she saw both men. They were there and wanting her.

; “Need you, babe,” Gale said. The lanky vampire crossed the room and scooped her into his arms. “Missed you.” He crushed her mouth with his own and sucked on her tongue.
They might be a fantasy, but she’d take what she could get.
Vic eased up behind her. He cupped her breasts and nibbled on her neck. His tangy wolf scent wrapped around her, drawing a shudder from deep inside.
“You want us.” Gale threaded his fingers in her hair and tugged. “At the same time? Sweet, greedy girl.”
“Always want the both of you.” Her pussy creamed. She wanted both of them in her body. Now. “Please?”
“What are you talking about?” the vampire asked.
Kitty opened her eyes. Damn it. She’d slipped into a day dream and spoken out loud. “Sorry. I have a lot on my mind.”
“You should be sorry. You have nothing to do here but pleasure me.” He swatted her off his lap and onto the floor. “Next time I expect your full attention, bitch.” He spat blood at her, then stomped out of the room. He slammed the door so hard the latch didn’t click and the handle bounced off the wall, leaving a dent.
Kitty curled into a ball on the floor. If she had to spend eternity in constant darkness, she wanted to be with people who loved her. She hiked the strap of her corset back into place on her shoulder. She hated having to wear nothing more than lingerie all the time. The chill sank into her bones. She wished she had her robe and a ticket out of the Store Front. She didn’t want to be a courtesan any longer.
“Now there’s our girl.”
Kitty’s attention pricked. She knew that voice. Vic. She glanced up at the doorway. Vic and Gale stood watching her.
“Why do you look so sad, hon?” Vic crossed the room first and offered his hand. “The bastard tried something, didn’t he?”
She drank in Vic’s presence. The tight T-shirt clung to his muscled frame. Although he was in his human form, the power of the wolf showed through. His salt-and-pepper hair glimmered in the light. His blue eyes sparkled as he knelt beside her. She loved how he contrasted Gale’s tall frame.
“I’m okay.” She brushed her hair away from her face and allowed him to pull her to her feet. “He was pushy, but I handled it.” She turned over his wrist. “Ah, you’re here for sex and feeding.”
“Are you pleased?” Gale uncrossed his ankles and left the doorway. He didn’t just walk over to her. He stalked across the room. His gray eyes glowed and a lock of his sandy brown hair slipped over his forehead. His clothes hung on his lanky frame. He embodied the strength and sexuality of a vampire, but without the jackass attitude.
“I am.” She slid her hand into his. “I’ve been waiting on you both. It’s not as fun here without you.”
“Oh?” Vic closed the door and engaged the lock. “I’m honored.”
“You should be,” she replied. She shouldn’t have been snappy with them, but after the nasty vampire, her nerves were shot.
“He fed from you.” Gale caressed her arm. “Left big ass puncture wounds, too. Didn’t he bother to close them?”
“I—I didn’t look.” She glanced at her wrist. Bright red blood dripped down her arm. Well, shit.
Gale scooped her into his arms. “The bastard.” He carried her to the bed, then plunked her onto his lap. In one slick move, he licked the wounds shut and stopped the bleeding. “He had no right to do this to you.”
“It’s my job,” she managed. Her vision blurred a bit. How much blood had the vampire taken?
“Sleep, little one.” Gale stretched her out on the bed, then cuddled beside her.
Vic slipped between her and the wall. “Recharge. We’re not going anywhere.”
“No?” Her eyelids grew heavy and she fought to stay awake. “Don’t let me die.”
“We won’t,” Gale murmured. He tore into his wrist, allowing a rivulet of blood to dribble onto her lips. “Take some of mine and sleep.”
She smiled and licked the blood. She’d never been good at trusting anyone, but her gut told her to give them a chance. Knowing Gale would share his blood calmed her. Vampire blood held special power for the humans. A tiny sip would help heal a human’s wounds in an instant. She wanted to be healed, but not just by his blood. She wanted him and Vic in every way possible. She sighed and closed her eyes, giving in to sleep. Soon they’d all be together as three and she’d be happy. Soon.
Vic propped himself up on his elbow and watched her sleep. As fast as she drifted off, he knew she’d been overworked. His heart ached for her. The humans had been abused for far too long.
“What are you thinking about?” Gale stretched his arm across her belly and grasped Vic’s hand. “Your mind is moving a mile a minute. I can see the steam coming out of your ears.”
Vic sighed. He loved Gale like a brother and needed the vampire involved when they made love to a woman. “I want to get her out of here. How much does it cost to take a courtesan home for the night—such as it is.” With the supernaturals in control, the world had shifted into permanent darkness. The only way to tell time was the main clock in the Governor’s palace. Sometimes, Vic couldn’t tell if it was day or night and relied on the biorhythms of his wolf to keep himself balanced. Everything changed with the darkness. The Governor had even outlawed the dollar and made the maravedi legal currency because the change pleased him.
“I’m not sure. Probably a hundred maravedi at least. I’ve got seventy-five if you’ve got the rest.” Gale shrugged. “I want her out of here, too. I’m sick of having to come here to be with her.”
“I’d rather make love to her than a quick fuck like the rules permit.” Vic tugged his wallet from his pocket. “Take whatever you need. You’re the smooth talker. Get us a night with her.”
“You feel that strongly about her?” Gale grinned. His eyes shone with a silver light—the color of his desire. “I hoped so, but I wasn’t going to pressure you.”
“Maybe I’m wrong, but my wolf wants her, I want her and now you do, too. Unless she tells us to fuck off, I think she’s our mate,” Vic said. He couldn’t see his life without her or Gale.
“You’re probably right.” Gale stretched, then stood. “I’ll be right back, but while I’m gone, you need to play with her.” He nodded toward the door. “I can’t see him, but I hear William coming.” He ducked out of the room, leaving Vic alone with Kitty.
Vic dipped his head once. Ah, the rules. The only reasons the patrons of the Store Front could take the humans to the private rooms were for sexual satisfaction and a food source. He glanced down at her sleeping form.
“I feel you watching me,” Kitty murmured. She opened her eyes. “Vic, what’s wrong?”
“Funny, Gale just asked me something very close to that.” He leaned over her and kissed her full on the mouth. Her sweetness washed over him and he swallowed her moan. She draped her arms around him, wriggling tighter underneath him.
She affected him like a drug. He wanted to be inside her and with her always. He rolled her on top of him. “Straddle me.”
Kitty rocked on his lap and tilted her head back. Her hair spilled down past her shoulders.
Seeing her so wanton, he couldn’t help himself. He dragged her forward until she sat on his chest. “I’ve craved your pussy all day.” He moved her narrow skirt out of the way, then grasped the tie for her panties. The flimsy garment gave way easily, baring her cunt to him. He groaned and his mouth watered. Damn.
Kitty flopped forward and grasped the headboard as she crawled into place. Her cream slid down his chin as she ground her pussy onto his mouth.
He hummed his approval. She tasted like wine on his tongue. Heat engulfed him and his wolf howled. The animal approved of her. Vic nibbled her cunt lips, then dragged his tongue between her folds.
Kitty writhed on top of him, alternately clenching her legs together, then relaxing and moaning.
“Touch my breasts,” she murmured and grabbed one of his hands. She placed his palm on her tit.
Vic spanked her once on the as
s, then moved his other hand to her chest. He loved when she took control and told him what she needed. He speared his tongue into her hole, lapping at her juices. The animal clawed him from within. Both his wolf and his human sides wanted to mate with her—but not without Gale.
He rolled her nipples between his index fingers and thumbs, pleased when she cried out. Her rocking on his face increased and she panted.
“Oooh, God,” she said in a cracked voice. “Vic.” She tensed and her legs trembled. “I’m… Fuck.”
A good fuck sounded perfect, especially coming off her lips. He released her breasts then grasped her hips. The curls at the apex of her pussy tickled his nose as he licked and bit at her clit. Her cream slickened his chin.
He dragged a long breath into his lungs, then sucked hard on her labia. Come for me, babe. Come on me. He swatted her ass once more as if to urge her on.
His ears pricked as he heard footsteps. He smelled the man before he saw him, but he needn’t have worried. Gale closed the door, then crawled onto the bed beside them.
“That’s right, little one,” Gale said. “Let go.”
When Vic glanced up, Gale pinched her breasts. He murmured against her neck and peppered her skin with kisses.
“Fuck,” she said drawing the word out. Her knees trembled even more and she curled against Gale’s body. “Jesus,” she shouted and collapsed against Gale.
“That’s beautiful.” Gale gathered her limp body in his arms. “Love watching you come apart.” He slid one hand between her legs and coated his fingers in her cream, then licked the wetness. “Tastes like candy, too.”
Vic propped himself up on his elbows. The wolf hadn’t settled. In fact, the wolf howled even louder. He closed his eyes to see through the eyes of his wolf. The animal craved her. In his mind, he saw a vision of Kitty round with child. Two scars decorated her neck as she rested against Gale. She smiled.
